 Sheffield International Venues (SIV) was established in 1988 following the World Student Games. Over the last 20 years SIV has grown rapidly increasing it’s portfolio from 4 to 14 venues and becoming one of Europe’s largest sport, leisure and entertainment companies, establishing an international reputation.
SIV’s portfolio of venues includes a cluster of world class sporting properties such as; Ponds Forge, Don Valley Sheffield and the English Institute of Sport Sheffield (EIS Sheffield). Hosting more than 2,000 events per year, including local, national and international sporting events; conferences, exhibitions and dinner dances for major corporate and a range of music and entertainment shows, the venues in SIV’s portfolio are both flexible and diverse.
SIV Conferencing & Events is the business tourism brand for Sheffield International Venues. The brand currently incorporates the business to business facilities at 5 of SIV’s 14 venues. These venues are City Hall Sheffield, Ponds Forge Sheffield, Don Valley Sheffield, Ice Sheffield and EIS Sheffield. The conference and events offering has been designed to assist with the co-ordination of conferences, meetings, seminars and training sessions and because every event is different , they can tailor their packages to suit individual requirements.
