Three more of the UK’s most prestigious specialist conference venues have joined Conference Centres of Excellence – reinforcing the unique choice and quality standards that the consortium provides for conference and meeting organisers of all kinds.
The new members are the RBS Williams F1 Conference Centre in Oxfordshire; Savoy Place in central London; and Austin Court in Birmingham. They become part of the CCE line-up of 36 venues across the country, each of which meets the sector’s most demanding standards across all aspects of conference provision – and all of which can be conveniently accessed through CCE’s own dedicated venue finding service.
What is CCE?
Conference Centres of Excellence is the UK’s leading consortium of dedicated conference and training venues, each of which provides a completely focused working environment free of distraction from transient business. Its 36 member venues have all achieved stringent audited quality standards in terms of conference and support facilities, accommodation and customer care.
Its members are all independent providers, working together to communicate to customers the advantages of specialist provision. Including some of the UK’s best known and respected venues, they range from established centres to successful new providers, some located near town and city centres and others in rural locations and country estates.
All CCE members offer the same set of propositions to conference organisers:
• Dedicated conference support, without the distractions that affect conference provision by non-specialist venues
• A focused environment dedicated to communications, learning and discussion
• Rooms that are designed and configured specifically for conferences and meetings, with dedicated furnishings and equipment
• Supportive staff, trained in the meetings business and fully sympathetic to clients’ and delegates’ conference needs
• Across all member venues, the highest standards of supporting facilities and service in terms of residential accommodation where it is offered, food, leisure facilities and general guest support (especially in terms of support for their ongoing business/ work).
The consortium was established in 1992, and has progressively and carefully expanded its membership to widen its geographical coverage.
