Conference organisers frustrated by venue-finding services that are impersonal, erratic or just plain unreliable won’t find those problems with Conference Centres of Excellence’s ‘Hotline’ service. Its team builds personal contact with its clients, providing focused, fully informed support – and it’s fast and completely free!
The team knows each of the 36 CCE member venues in great detail, and understands exactly the variety and flexibility that’s on offer. It can provide immediate guidance on facilities, availability and price, make arrangement for visits – and provide anything the event organiser needs to make the right decision. And, of course, with CCE’s 36 superb locations at its fingertips, the Hotline team can help organisers to consider alternative options or to plan multi-venue events.
The team is based at CCE’s offices in Dorking, Surrey. Its driving force is not only to ensure organisers find a venue that meets their requirements precisely, but to provide a genuine one-to-one service. 'From the first conversation to define all the parameters, to the completion of the event, we build a client relationship that is responsive, detailed and based on personal contact,' explains CCE’s Head of Sales & Marketing Gill Smillie.
Outstanding choice – and consistently high standards
CCE is the UK’s leading consortium of venues with specialist conference facilities. Its 36 member venues have all achieved stringent audited quality standards in terms of conference and meetings facilities, accommodation and customer care. Each provides completely focused support and a distraction-free environment.
Together, those members provide a wonderful variety and choice. Including many of the UK’s best known and respected venues, they range from established centres to successful new providers, some located near town and city centres and others in rural locations and country estates. Geographically, they cover all the most popular regions for conferences and events.
'We have complete confidence in the quality we can offer our clients'
Gill’s team includes Business Development Executive Susan Lewis and team manager Paul Newton. Perhaps the most important element of their message to clients is that each CCE venue provides the same set of propositions to conference organisers – top standards of facilities, dedicated to conferences and meetings; specialist equipment and supportive staff who are trained in the conference business; and exceptional facilities for relaxation and, in most cases, overnight accommodation. 'We know each of our members from personal experience – we visit them all regularly, and that means we also know the key people there. So we can therefore have complete confidence in the quality we can offer to our clients,' says Paul: 'Unlike other venue-finding teams, we never have to cross our fingers and hope that the venue will get it right.'
'CCE venues offer a uniform, completely transparent package that is clearly stated and comprehensive'
The Hotline team is also very proud to be able to tell clients about CCE’s ‘all-inclusive’ promise, that the final invoice won’t include any unexpected extras: ' Nothing angers or frustrates an organiser more than to find that the final bill is loaded with extras for things they thought were part of the original contract,' says Susan Lewis: “'CCE venues offer a uniform, completely transparent package that is clearly stated and comprehensive, and it’s great to be able to communicate that fact with confidence to our clients.'
