Win two places to visit the Williams F1 Museum

24 October

Congratulations to our winner - Charlotte Atherton, Productions Director of Purpledragon Productions.

Here is your chance to feel part of the team experience of motorsport by winning a tour for two of the Williams F1 Museum.

The RBS Williams F1 Conference Centre is home to the Williams F1 Grand Prix Collection which spans the team’s 30 year history from 1977 to the present day. Each of the World Championship winning cars are represented from the very first car designed and built by the team. Williams F1 Grand Prix Collection tours are being run throughout the year and are available for corporate groups or for individuals:

• 23rd November 2007

• 18th January 2008

• 15th February 2008

• 11th April 2008

• 20th June 2008

• 8th August 2008

• 26th September 2008

• 31st October 2008

• 5th December 2008

The tour will begin with coffee and biscuits before moving through to the Champions Gallery, which contains pictures of all the World Championship winning drivers that have driven for the team since 1977.

The gallery leads into the preview theatre, which sets the scene for your tour of the museum. The theatre seats up to 50 guests to view an introductory film which encapsulates the drama, excitement and thrills and spills of the high octane world of Williams F1. You will then move through to the Williams F1 Grand Prix Collection. Your tour of the museum is accompanied by an audio-visual history of the team detailing the story behind the cars.

The tour concludes in the Technology and Trophy Rooms. Since 1977 Williams F1 has built a reputation for its engineering skills consistently keeping the Williams F1 cars at the front of the grid. One of the most sophisticated F1 cars ever built was the FW15c which took Alain Prost to his fourth World Championship with the help of active ride suspension, semi-automatic gearbox, traction control and ABS. This Technology Room displays examples of all aspects of an F1 car's engineering.

With over 100 Grand Prix wins the AT&T Williams team has collected a wide variety of trophies as well a selection of memorabilia relating to the nine Manufacturer's World Championship wins. Part of this extensive collection is displayed in the AT&T Williams Team trophy room, which contains some of the most prestige and interesting cups.

Prize includes refreshments on arrival and buffet lunch following the tour.
