The Wellcome Trust Conference Centre at Hinxton near Cambridge has completed an extensive programme of refurbishment to its dedicated IT training room and all its bedrooms.
The venue’s Rosalind Franklin Pavilion has received a new look, with brand new integrated furniture system that is designed to create easy store-away for all computers and monitors. The pavilion will accommodate up to 40 delegates in a classroom layout, and the flexible space can become multi-functional throughout any event.
The Rosalind Franklin Pavilion is the Wellcome Trust Conference Centre’s dedicated IT training room, offering 20 dual book desktop computers (plus trainer’s computer), and two operating systems for dedicated IT training purposes: Microsoft Windows 2000 and Red Hat Linux.
Last month the Wellcome Trust Conference Centre also completed an 18-month refurbishment of all its bedrooms. Its 60 Residential Court Rooms now benefit from a stylish, timeless design, and its 10 executive rooms in Hinxton Hall are decorated in a classical theme – in keeping with the 18th-century hall.
The bedrooms’ makeover includes new beds, flooring, soft furnishings, hairdryers and digital television, creating stylish, comfortable rooms with complimentary wireless LAN connections.
