Staff at the RBS Williams F1 Conference Centre in Oxfordshire are celebrating after the venue was officially given AIM accreditation by the Meetings Industry Association.
The AIM scheme (Accredited in Meetings) provides the meetings industry and its buyers with a universally recognised indicator of quality for meetings and services. To become accredited, venues are required to undertake a stringent quality assurance assessment.
The RBS Williams F1 Conference Centre is certainly a considerable proposition for event organisers looking for something out of the ordinary. As well as offering excellent conference facilities in a stimulating environment, the centre has a truly unique selling point: a collection of more than 40 of the Williams F1 team's seminal racing cars from over a quarter of a century of racing.
As an incentive product, the venue offers race day hospitality as part of its corporate package, where guests can get caught up in the excitement of a Grand Prix race surrounded by years of Williams F1 history.
Now the 2008 season has come to an end, the RBS Williams F1 Conference Centre has announced its provisional 2009 race day hospitality schedule, subject to confirmation: the Monaco event on 24 May, Silverstone on 21 June and Singapore on 27 September 2009. Places can be bought on an individual basis or by tables of 10.
Before then, the venue is offering free half-day hire of its unmissable Williams F1 simulator – another of the centre’s unique attractions – for events booked in January and February 2009, subject to availability.
