 One Great George Street, the prestigious meeting and event venue in London’s Westminster, has launched a new customer loyalty scheme. Membership of the Great Client Club is available only to direct bookers – whether existing or new customers – who hold events at One Great George Street.
‘Our new loyalty programme has been designed specifically to thank direct bookers for selecting One Great George Street as their preferred meeting or function venue – and to encourage repeat bookings, of course,’ says Lisa Riddiford, the venue’s sales and marketing manager. ‘Based on a points system – the amount spent is converted into points and determined by the net value of each booking – our members can earn rewards and redeem them for vouchers or gifts.’
 The choice of rewards, which can also be used by bookers to treat friends or family, range from fine dining experiences at One Great George Street and tickets to West End shows, to exciting family days out at a local attraction, or cases of Fortnum & Mason wines. On joining the Great Client Club, members will automatically be given 200 points.
Members of the previous scheme will be contacted and invited to join the new Great Client Club, as will those who have already organised an event for 2008, booked earlier this year.
One Great George Street has recently seen the completion of an extensive £1million refurbishment programme to the main kitchen and enhancements to its Brasserie – as director Gary Payne explains: ‘Working closely with our executive chef, David Wilkinson, we have designed the new kitchen to ensure it supports the needs of the entire catering operation.
 ‘We are proud that – whatever the size of the event being held here in one of the 19 rooms, ranging from a small meeting, or gala dinner – all food created for clients is produced in-house by the kitchen brigade at One Great George Street, using only the freshest and finest ingredients. This ranges from morning coffee and afternoon tea to a hot or cold buffet lunch or a seated dinner. We share a passion for food and wine, and pride in our surroundings.’
