 imago at Burleigh Court has become the only dedicated four star residential conference facility in Leicestershire, achieving the accreditation from the Quality in Tourism Board.
The four star status, awarded by the Quality in Tourism Board, is only granted to residential locations that are of exceptional quality. All key areas of the business, including cleanliness, service, bedrooms, bathrooms and food quality must be of a consistently high standard to qualify for the accreditation.
Head of Sales Emma Boynton said: 'This is a fantastic achievement not only for imago, but also for the region. The team here is thrilled with the recognition of their hard work and we are also delighted that this will add to the positive appeal of the region as a great destination for business and leisure tourism.'
Specific aspects of imago at Burleigh Court that were praised during the Quality in Tourism Board’s inspection included the presence and presentation of the building. The centre’s recent £8.5 million expansion was described as being 'particularly good, creating a very professional first impression.' Emma said: 'It is nice to gain recognition for Burleigh Court’s modern and contemporary design. We have invested time and resource to ensure that guests receive an excellent first impression on arrival.'
The success is the latest in a series of recent accolades for imago. It has also been awarded the Food for the Brain accreditation, a Venuemasters award in its annual mystery shopper exercise and a clutch of Meetings Industry Marketing awards for best website and best promotional material.
