Staff at Cotswold Conference Centre in Broadway are celebrating with clients, neighbours and colleagues following the reopening of its Smallbrook venue, which has been the subject of a £500,000 summer makeover.
The centre’s main reception building has been refurbished and now offers a new lounge bar, reception and dining room with flexibility for private dining, as well as improved access for wheelchair users and disabled parking. In keeping with the Estate’s green business ethos, the exterior of the building has been re-clad in wood, complementing the surrounding parkland.
Sales manager Nick Akerman said: ‘I am really impressed and delighted with how it looks – it’s fantastic. It is going to make such a difference to the arrival experience. We are thrilled at the wider opportunities this investment offers our business and leisure clients.’
The completed refurbishment will be available for the general public to view at a free Open Day on 21 September.
Launched in January 2001, Cotswold Conference Centre’s facilities have continually developed. Accommodation is provided in the form of 53 well-appointed en-suite rooms, and the centre is set within 300 acres of breathtaking Cotswold Scenery with stunning views across the Vale of Evesham.
Cotswold Conference Centre is the only Conference Centre of Excellence in the Cotswolds, and the first Worcestershire-based business to become a member of the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
