 Macdonald Hotels and Resorts, the AA Hotel Group of the Year, has appointed David Guile as its new Chief Executive.
As CEO, Guile has implemented an ambitious five year strategy which will see the development of two new build hotels (costing of over £60m) and investment in excess of £200m in its four and five star portfolio.
Guile worked at Forte and Heritage before joining Macdonald Hotels in 2000. Taking on the post of regional managing director for the South of England, David Guile was promoted to the role of deputy chief executive in March 2006 and joined the group’s main board three months later.
