Dolce La Hulpe Brussels Hotel, Resort & Conference Destination teamed up with communications agency Hakuna Matata and its partner, Benji Fun, to host a Dinner in the Sky on June 20th. The 'Dinner in the Sky' saw 22 guests dine at a height of 50 metres; providing unrivalled views of La Hulpe and the 178 acres of Sonian forest that surround the hotel as diners sampled exquisite cuisine prepared by the property’s Executive Chef Pascal Marcin. On a second platform in the sky the musical duet FFortissimo provided entertainment for the guests.
'Dolce is recognised for its fantastic meetings and conference facilities, this venture was the perfect way for us to showcase La Hulpe’s additional benefits, including its superb location and fantastic cuisine' says Philippe Attia, Dolce International’s Senior Vice-President of Operations, Europe. 'This event underlines Dolce’s reputation for exceptional quality, style, luxury and innovation'.
Dinner in the Sky is an extra-ordinary culinary experience which allows people to eat at 50 meters high, where ever they want: city or country side, sports or cultural locations, private or public spots… Maybe that’s the reason why www.forbes.com selected Dinner in the Sky in its ranking of the 10 most unusual restaurants in the world.
The total price for a dinner in the sky at Dolce La Hulpe Brussels is 16000€. This price includes the costs for renting one table + crane + logistic & security staff, the transportation costs and a gala dinner made by the Executive Chef for 22 persons.
