 Confex Group has received overwhelming support from a number of associations for the forthcoming Association Summit being held on Monday 21st September at the Macdonald Burlington.
Following earlier calls for the industry to rally together Confex Group Director Duncan Reid is confident that the show of support indicates that the industry is keen to make the initiative work.
'Change isn’t going to happen overnight but with the positive response we have already received, I do think it’s a step in the right direction.
The industry is ready to make its voice heard and we’ll only be able to achieve this if we can champion our issues with one collective voice.'
Associations who will attend the summit so far are; ABPCO, AEO, AEV, BVEP, ESSA, Eventia, HBAA, ICCA, ISES, MIA, MPI with more still to be confirmed. VisitBritain also back the initiative.
