Event Manchester, the annual showcase of conference and event venues in Manchester, is set for a new look when it returns to the capital on Tuesday 9 September.
The new format, which sees the event move from the gardens in the centre of Manchester Square to the neighbouring Wallace Collection, will provide three separate events for guests to network with up to 35 of Manchester’s finest conference venues.
The first, taking place at 12 noon, will be a lunch for association buyers created by celebrity chef Michael Caines. At 5.15pm, there will then be a round of one-to-one appointments for meeting and event buyers.
The day culminates with a party for all guests that will take place between 6pm and 9pm. During the party, guests will be treated to a visual and musical feast of Manchester’s finest musicians and entertainers while enjoying a light supper.
Catherine Walker, head of conference at Visit Manchester, said: ‘Event Manchester is a one-stop shop for anyone organising conferences or events in Manchester. The new format this year is an exciting new development and shows how the event has grown in line with the changing needs of the industry.’
