 Confex Group is outlining its plans to bring more international business under its product portfolio with the forthcoming launch of a new international channel on venuefinder.com at National venue Show (25th – 27th September 2007).
This is part of an integrated offering that Confex Group are implementing to serve the growing needs of the international corporate events industry. This is also reflected in the current strength of the International sector of Confex following the return of many destinations, including Germany and Brazil plus the arrival of many new ones.
'Given the strength of the pound, more and more UK buyers are turning to outbound destinations. This has resulted in an ever increasing demand for international event solutions from clients across our portfolio.' said Alison Willis, Sales Director, Confex Group.
The new international channel on venuefinder.com will offer 4000 venues from over 40 countries. It will enable event organisers to search for venues according to how far they are from the UK, by hotel group, and even by the number of hotel bedrooms and maximum delegate capacities in one location.
Many of these destinations will also be represented at International Confex 2008 with the re-signing of Bulgaria, Greece and Portugal as well as long haul destinations such as Barbados and Miami.
